COUNTRY COORDINATING MECHANISM OF MONGOLIA FOR GLOBAL FUND SUPPORTED GRANTS

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Global Fund is a partnership designed to accelerate the end of AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria as epidemics. As an international organization, the Global Fund mobilizes and invests more than US$4 billion a year to support programs run by local experts in more than 100 countries. Country Coordinating Mechanisms /CCM/ are national committees in each country that submit funding applications to the Global Fund on behalf of the entire country. They include representatives from government, the private sector, technical partners, civil society and communities living with the diseases, which are the key element of the Global Fund partnership.

CCM duties involve extensive coordination of information and meeting logistics.

CCM Secretariat Mongolia seeks Administrative Assistant to work full time maternity leave replacement for 6 months.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

Under the supervision of Chair, Vice Chair and Coordinator of CCM, administrative assistant is responsible for assisting the CCM main functions, particularly to produce, archive, translate and circulate minutes of all CCM and other meetings, assist logistics for CCM meetings, oversight visits, support the CCM Secretariat daily operations, assist in developing financial requests/reports of CCM Secretariat.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

1. BA in related field preferred
2. At least three years of administrative work experience
3. Financial knowledge is highly recommended
4. Fluency in written English
5. Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office and other essential knowledge
6. Excellent interpersonal, communication skills

SKILLS:

1. Good typing and minute taking skills are required
2. Ability to prioritize and work independently
